Creative Festival

Building for Bouwkunde is calling on people from all backgrounds to join the Creative Festival and share their wildest dreams.

On the weekend of June 7th and 8th, Building for Bouwkunde has celebrated student and staff creativity and interfacultary collaboration during a Creative Festival. Groups of 5-8 people have worked together in workshops throughout the weekend, sharing their ideas and thoughts, to create visions to inspire and influence the rebuilding of Bouwkunde. A typical workshop has involved people with various backgrounds, enriching both the experience and the results.

The group visions have been manifested in renderings, posters, and video presentations and have been presented on Sunday the 8th to a high-profile jury. Results have been exhibited on the Building for Bouwkunde Gallery of Visions and are going to be exhibited in the Architecture Photography Exhibition. Above all, these results will be used as part of the brief for the international competition for the new Faculty of Architecture. Need we say more?!
